Specialties:
- Plant – landscape ecology
- Remote sensing of vegetation
- GIS & geospatial analysis
Research Interests:
I study vegetation cover changes associated with land use changes using remote sensing and geospatial analysis techniques. My research focuses on rangeland and forest vegetation in the Rocky Mountain US and in Northern Mongolia.
I am currently studying aspen decline and juniper encroachment rates and spatial patterns in Idaho, as well as rangeland degradation in the Khuvsjul Province of Mongolia.
