Accuracy Assessor 1.0

This tool is in Beta Testing. We welcome all comments and suggestions.

Accuracy Assessor is a simple Visual Basic script that is intended to automate accuracy assessments of classifications from remotely sensed imagery in ArcGIS. The script was written in ArcGIS 9.1, its compatibility to other versions of software is untested.

Web-based Mapping of Study Areas

The Google Maps API is used to display the maps of BCAL study areas.

Lidar Study Area Maps include image overlays of LiDAR hillshades and downloadable KML files of area boundaries. Hyperspectral Study Area Maps include downloadable KML files of area boundaries. KML files may also be displayed in Google Earth

Remote Sensing and Geospatial Analytical Tools

BCAL’s software includes several remote sensing and GIS software platforms. We most widely use ENVI/IDL, ESRI, and MapWindow.

ENVI

ENVI is software for the visualization, analysis, and presentation of all types of digital imagery. It includes advanced apectral tools, geometric correction, terrain analysis, radar analysis, raster and vector GIS capabilities, and extensive support for images.
